10 Famous Movie Scenes Actors Regretted Filming

10 Famous Scenes Actors Regretted Filming
Most actors are totally proud of every production they’ve appeared in; from the big budget blockbusters
that bring them to the world’s attention, all the way to the low-budget offerings of
their early career. But that’s not always the case.??Actors do
sometimes have regrets – and they often come in the form of particular scenes, rather than
entire productions. Whether it’s because they regret bearing too
much flesh, didn’t know what they were getting themselves into, don’t think they did the
scene in question as well as they could have, or otherwise, actors have a variety of reasons
for wishing they hadn’t done certain scenest. Here are ten famous scenes actors regretted
filming. Eva Mendes – Once Upon a Time in Mexico (2003
– Dimension Films) Once Upon a Time in Mexico is a 2003 contemporary
western action film, starring the likes of Johnny Depp, Eva Mendes, Antonio Banderas
and Salma Hayek. In the movie, Depp and Mendes share an on-screen
kiss – and Mendes has a rather unique regret about it.??Mendes believes she should have
taken advantage of the fact that she was getting to kiss someone she had found attractive for
years and made it last longer. The actress said “All of my screen kisses
were the best, though I regret not kissing Johnny for longer. It was the first time I had worked with an
actor who I had a crush on as a little girl.” Sharon Stone – Basic Instinct (1992 – TriStar
Pictures) Sharon Stone’s role as Catherine Tramell in
1992’s Basic Instinct was the one that brought her international recognition – and it undoubtedly
remains her most iconic role to date. Her most famous scene was the one in which
she uncrossed her legs whilst wearing a short dress to reveal that she was wearing no underwear
– but she actually regrets filming it.??She was told to remove her underwear by director
Paul Verhoeven on the basis that nothing would be seen – and she only realised just how much
she’d shown when watching it in a theatre full of people. It angered her and she wouldn’t have taken
her underwear off in the first place had she realised. Jessica Brown Findlay – Albatross (2011 – IFC
Films) Jessica Brown Findlay is an English actress
who is most famous for her role as Lady Sybil Crawley in the phenomenally successful drama
series Downton Abbey. But back in 2011, she made her feature film
debut in the coming-of-age comedy drama Albatross.??There was a scene in the movie that the actress
genuinely regrets – and it’s the one in which her character bears her breasts instead of
showing ID in order to buy alcohol. Of the scene, Findlay said “To be honest,
Albatross was naivet and not knowing that I could say no. I had no idea what was going to happen and
thought I was going to be shot from behind.” Natalie Portman – Hotel Chevalier (2007 – Fox
Searchlight Pictures) Hotel Chevalier was a 2007 American-French
short film starring the beautiful Natalie Portman and Jason Schwartzman – and it featured
a bedroom scene in which Portman stripped completely naked. It wasn’t the first time the actress had taken
her clothes off for a movie role, and it didn’t even reveal an awful lot to the audience,
but Portman regretted it nevertheless.??About the scene, the Israel-born star said “I’m
really sorry I didn’t listen to my intuition. From now on, I’m going to trust my gut more. Sometimes the most powerful thing you can
do is say no.” Burt Reynolds – Deliverance (1972 – Warner
Bros.) 1972’s Deliverance was a fantastic and disturbing,
movie about a trip into the unknown and potentially dangerous American wilderness. It featured an extremely memorable scene of
male rape – but it’s a completely different scene that the movie’s star Burt Reynolds
regrets being a part of. ??It’s the scene in which Reynolds’ character
goes over a waterfall in a canoe. And the thing he regrets? Not letting director John Boorman use a dummy! Reynolds volunteered to go over the falls
himself and ended up cracking his tailbone – which still hurts him to this day – and
nearly ended up drowning in a whirlpool. Lee Min-ho – The Heirs (2013 – Seoul Broadcasting
System) Let’s look at an example from a very different
source now – this list has truly gone global – as we look at a scene from South Korean
television series The Heirs. The show starred a number of fairly high-profile
Korean actors, including Lee Min-ho, Park Shin-hye and Kim Woo-bin – and it is Min-ho
who regretted one particular scene.??It was a kissing scene between Min-ho and Shin-hye
– but the director didn’t tell the latter that she was going to be kissed. She was genuinely startled when the actor
planted his lips on hers – and he regrets the fact that she wasn’t warned in advance
that it was going to happen. Jim Carrey – Kick-Ass 2 (2013 – Universal
Pictures) Jim Carrey quite famously withdrew all of
his support for Kick-Ass 2 as a whole, following the tragic Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting
in December 2012 – but it was because of particular scenes in the movie that he did so.??Carrey
regretted having taken part in scenes such as his own character’s death, which contained
a level of violence he could no longer endorse in light of such a tragic event. In his character’s death scene, Colonel Stars
and Stripes – as he was known – had his leg slashed, was stabbed all the way through his
torso, and had his neck snapped before being decapitated. Kate Winslet – Titanic (1997 – 20th Century
Fox) 1997’s Titanic is the second highest-grossing
movie of all time and was the stepping stone for a number of stars to superstardom – Leonardo
DiCaprio and Kate Winslet in particular. For either of those actors to regret anything
about the movie would be crazy, right? Well Kate Winslet does regret one particular
scene.??It’s that iconic scene in which DiCaprio’s Jack Dawson draws Winslet’s Rose DeWitt Bukater
is the scene in question. People constantly approach Winslet with the
picture asking her to sign it, about which the actress says “I don’t sign that. It feels very uncomfortable. Why would you do that? People ask me to sign that a lot.” Ben Stiller – Along Came Polly (2004 – Universal
Pictures) Along Came Polly was a 2004 romantic comedy
starring Ben Stiller and Jennifer Aniston. In the movie, there’s a scene in which Stiller
bears his naked butt – and he regretted filming it as soon as the movie was released.??In
fact, Stiller wasn’t expecting the scene to even make it into the movie, as the actor
has been quoted as saying “Director John Hamburg said he’d cut the scene if it didn’t get a
laugh.” What was even worse for Stiller was finding
out that he didn’t even have to film the scene in the first place. Still said “Later, I discovered I could have
had a bottom double – but no one had bothered to tell me!” Jennifer Lawrence – Passengers (2016 – Columbia
Pictures) There’s an upcoming romantic science fiction
thriller called Passengers that will star two of the hottest names in Hollywood today
– Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt. It will be released in December of 2016, but
we already know that Lawrence has a regret about one of the scenes filmed for the movie.??It
was her first ever sex scene – filmed with Pratt – and the actress drank a lot of alcohol
in preparation to film it, meaning that she couldn’t remember how it actually went! Of the scene, she has said “I got really,
really drunk. But then that led to more anxiety when I got
home because I was like, ‘What have I done? I don’t know!'” Thanks for watching our video of ten famous

considering the fact she came back for the sequel all those years later, and was proud to be seen so sexually again, despite being in her 50s, something tells me that even if Stone was upset about how Basic Instinct played out, she very much so got over it, and was OK going back into that role.

  2. Tamera Cramer Author

Is it just me or did anyone else notice that most of the regrets were from women who received pressure from male directors about nudity? I've heard Sharon Stone talk about that scene and BOY, was she pissed.

  3. amy Author

hate that these producers and men with the power to say "oh take your clothes off but it'll be shown from the back" so you trust it'll be in good taste only to have it filmed. this shit is so disturbing they would never do that shit to tom cruise.

  4. Eddie Wesson Author

Jim Carrey is a idiot . if he so against guns and can't stand the movie maybe he should donate the money made to something important

Why on earth would they Regret any of these scenes? There have been scenes in Movies that Actors should Regret but this entire list is just fine and I see nothing wrong with any of them. I think its just a bunch of Actors that think of themselves as better than they really are. Drop your Egos for five minutes and do your job. Lawrence Never even showed any Nudity STFU. Carrey had a good death scene in KA2 and should be proud of it. Dont let real life mess with your movie roles.

Firstly Natalie Portman suits short hair, secondly now that I know that she is from Israel I will go out of my way not to piss her off, those guys are crazy

I'm hoping that Eva Mendes' comment was in jest, and I suspect that it was, because what she's saying otherwise is that she regrets behaving professionally. I doubt that she'd like the idea of her costars getting off by kissing her.

  8. Heartbeat Storm Author

They say it now.. But give me a break.. They knew what they were doing at the time… What are u saying that all actors are idiots..
Its truly possible,, but there is no low a actor won't go…

  9. Svein Grimstad Author

Why would Kate Winslet regret that nude scene when Jack Dawson was drawing her? That scene is a work of art. The whole film is a work of art! Nothing should have been different in Titanic. To this day it's one of the best films I'd ever seen. My score: 9.5

  10. Rick Blain Author

EVA MENDEZ? All of her talent is in her bra. She can't act. She's lucky that she's attractive enough for them to keep casting her, or she'd be selling insurance somewhere.

  11. zak weed Author

yeah when they have zero cash they are ready to get naked and suck dicks but when they got cash then they regret. ITS A TYPICAL BITCH PROSTITUTE BEHAVIOR

  12. Mr. James Author

i regret watching this as the thumbnail show lawerance in american hustle, which it didn't mention at all. They showed that picture cause they knew people who be more interested in a regret she had in that film, rather then one we havn't seen.

  13. brent847 Author

actors that do scenes in movies that  make for great movies and make actors huge  and then regret doing them. this is what I think is going on right now in 2017  is regret alternate reality syndrome.   it was fine 20 years ago while you were consenting but now its sexual assault?

  14. holamoco17 Author

Why would the director want Sharon's underpants to be removed if he said nothing will be seen anyway? He actually lied to her, the intent was to show a glimpse of her pussy the whole time. I guess he had to lie or else she would never do it? But that makes her a little stupid then? I don't understand this movie industry.

  15. Thomas Hilton Author

Actors are people to. We all make mistakes. (That part with kate on titanic. I will not to ask for her to sign it. I will just ask her for her a picture of her.

  16. Joe Seely Author

These actors know exactly what is going to happen in the scene they read the script before they do the scene so they know how to act

  17. Burt Bach Author

That Jennifer Lawrence is a right slag.internet sex tapes, nudity in film/sex scenes. It's a pity she does not regret like most of these Hollywood woman before they get the multi million pound paydays.who are they trying to kid. They must think that outside Hollywood everyone are retards. Then you have Natalie Portman (jew) these people would sell there own families to make a dollar.

  18. Jeremy Barbati Author

This mistitled video is a pathetic blatant pander.
Calling the majority of these scenes "famous' is like calling the puddle of sick I just made "vast."
Way to shoe horn in some Korean show with an unexpected kiss. The sexual harassment angle is so cheap and obvious. Why not just make a video about that specifically instead of this SJW bait and switch? Should be titled "Scenes we want you to feel bad about watching." At least then everyone will know going in what kind of schlock they were in for.
