How to Access Free Tickets to Public Works’ HERCULES | The Public Theater

Hi I’m Krysta Rodriguez and I’m
playing Meg in Public Works’ Musical adaptation of Hercules at The Delacorte
Theater in Central Park this summer from August 31st through September 8th. Today
I’m here at the Delacorte to tell you how to access free tickets to the show.
Starting on Monday August 12th at noon, we’ll open the advance digital lottery
with our partner todaytix for all seven performances on todaytix com and their
app. Entries will be accepted until Wednesday August 28th at noon. You may
enter once for any or all of the seven performances. There will also be separate
ADA accessible and senior accessible advanced digital lotteries. Today tix
will notify you if you’ve won on Wednesday August 28th after 12 p.m. by
email and their app. Now all is not lost if you don’t win tickets from the
advance digital lottery. You can also enter our daily in-person standby
lottery here at the Delacorte. On the day of each performance at the Delacorte
Theater you may enter the in-person standby
lottery beginning at 5:00 p.m. with entries being taken through 7:00 p.m.
Winners will be drawn at 7:30 or when tickets become available. Now, winning the
standby lottery only grants you access to tickets if and when they become
available and does not guarantee that you will receive tickets for the
performance. Standby tickets will be distributed in the order of when your
name was pulled. For more details about the Public Works’ Hercules free ticket
distribution visit publictheater.org/hercules I hope to see you at the Delacorte soon
