Second test isn't accurate, the softball is much more structurally sound than a snowball, most of the energy would be dispersed into the snowball and it would break apart.

I’m an Electrical Engineer but most of the guys I knew in college who wore Hurley hats couldn’t spell engineer. Kudos to you for making nerds cool.

5:20 The problem with comparing the snowball to the softball is that the snowball is effectively a loosely coupled object of spicky snow flakes that would be destroyed upon impact, thus dissipating the energy, where the softball is a (comparatively) solid object the not only absorbs but rebounds the impact elastically.

Why are people bitching about the fact he has protection on during the snowball stunt? I mean other places on the internet to see people get hurt badly if that’s what you’re into. God.

on the first test with the bb gun it would be almost impossible for the bb to bounce back at the shooter with the speed to even leave a mark. The test is glancing a bb

With the softball you would have to account for the pillow cushioning the blow making you not get hit as hard so you would have to try something else for that
