On the other hand, the cinematography of Requiem For A Dream is so unbelievably good that I watched it at least five times, because the pictures, the actors, the camera angles and the soundtrack are soo damn great.

  6. Tesha Glover Author

Sorry guys, but I think 'Megan is missing' should have made this list and certainly been number 1! Definitely the most downright disturbing and upsetting movie I've EVER seen!

  7. neworleansguy10 Author

I’m not sure The Mist deserves to be on this list. It’s a good horror film. That being said, I saw Dancer In The Dark and Requiem For A Dream in the theater in the same weekend and was plunged into a 3 weeks long depression.

  8. I'm You, You're me Author

Most High was never given much attention. But it was a beautiful movie.. but waaaaay too real for most. I always wondered where the movies were that ended with a relatable reality… where things dont always end up happily ever after.
Showed it to a girlfriend at the time , and she was shocked as to how I could rave about the movie. Needless to say…. we broke up

  9. louisee21 Author

"Sophie's choice" and "Son of Saul" are also brilliant movies about Shoah, just as "Chindler's list" and "the Pianist". Lanzman's movie "Shoah" is a must-see. These movies are not meant to entertain us, but to help us realize what millions of people went through, people like you and me with hopes, desires, families and friends. Let's not forget them

  10. Marie Just Marie Author

I don't agree. Human Centipede and Bridges of Madison County are movies I could only see once. The first is horrid and the second is way too heartbreaking.

  11. Milo Milo Author

Schindler’s list! I completely agree and for English we’re being forced to watch and analyse every single scene! It’s traumatic and continues to traumatise our class. Thanks School!

  12. Royal Official Author

OMG! YES 12 years a slave is first on this list
My teacher made us watch this in history class, I was literally about to get up and ask can I leave the class. The whipping was terrible, MY GOD

I STILL haven't finished Passion Of The Christ, last time I saw the film was when I was around 8 or 9, and that scene with Jesus and the kids had me crying in fear.

  14. Janet Duncan Author

The one about Ted Bundy. I couldn't sit through the whole thing let alone rewatch it. I don't know who the actor was, who played his part, but it was well played…

  15. Marcus Massey Author

I'm sick I seen Schindler's List many times and loved the harshness that people shown one another. Shown the honesty true evil that lives in many today that I thank God people contain.

  16. Audrey Sims Author

A huge lot of my family has been ruined by drugs, and I wish that when kids are 13 and start getting into situations where they will be tempted to try it will watch this. Requiem For A Dream is pretty realistic in some parts, and I just hope that teens’ parents will show their kids this to prevent more examples for a movie like this.
